Meets weekly at 1pm on Wednesdays via Zoom
We are currently studying the book of Galatians together.
The format of our Bible study is the ancient practice of lectio continua (continuous reading). We pick up each time where we left off the previous week. We listen to a passage of Scripture as it is read and then we discuss what we hear the Holy Spirit speaking to us through the written word of God.
We ask ourselves these questions:
- What does this passage say about God? Who is God revealing Himself to be?
- Where is the Gospel in this passage? What is the good news of Jesus Christ here?
- How does the context of this passage relate (or not relate) to our own context? What does this passage mean for us today?
- What does this passage mean for my own life? How is the triune God at work in me?
